What time does the band arrive at your function?
The band require approximately one and a half hours to set up and sound check. We are very flexible with regards arrival times and will be guided by the client. We always arrive and start promptly and aim to make the organisation of your function as stress free as possible.
How long do we perform for?
Hard To Handle's reputation for value for money is second to none. Most function bands will play for only two one hour sets. However, once the price for the function has been agreed, the band are prepared to start at an agreed time and finish at the end of the function at no extra cost. This can stretch to as long as four hours of live music!.
What happens during the intervals?
The band will take up to two twenty minute breaks during which time, music will be played through the PA system. If you prefer, you can provide your own music which we will play to keep the party swinging.
Do you have your own PA and lighting equipment?
Hard to Handle pride themselves upon the quality of their musical equipment and provide a cutting edge PA system for all functions plus a lighting rig to add a fantastic atmosphere to the dance floor.
Does the band cater for special requests?
Faye will speak to you regarding any special requests that you may have. If your chosen song is not already in the band's extensive set list, it will be learnt and performed on the night.
Is your equipment insured and PAT tested?
All of our equipment is PAT Tested and very carefully maintained. The band also carry Public Liability Insurance. All certification will be presented upon request.
Does the band have any special requirements?
The band can squeeze into an area aproximately 3 metres by 2 metres. We require just two 13 amp plug sockets in close proximity to the stage area.
Do you require food and drink?
The band would request refreshments at a suitable point during the course of the evening.
